Lesson Plan in Science Four (Revolution and the Period of the Earth's Revolution)

Lesson Plan in Science Four
I              -Tell how long it takes the earth to move around the sun.
-Answer why we have a leap year in every four years.
II             - Revolution and the Period of the Earth’s Revolution
III           -Today we would find out the way the earth goes around the sun and what we call the process .
We shall also cover the  period of the earth’s revolution.

I want to ask some people to come to the front and do as I say.

The earth rotates as it revolves, It takes a year for the earth to go around the sun. If it happens you can tell that the earth has already gone through one revolution. A new year will start right after midnight of December 31. The earth will then start a new journey around the sun which will take another year to complete.
Revolution of the earth is not felt, but you have a way of knowing about it. By looking at a calendar, we can tell that the earth has just started a new revolution or whether it is about to complete one revolution.
There are 365 ¼ days in one year to be exact. However if you count the number of calendar days in a year, it will only be 365 days except when in it a leap year.
Leap year occurs every four years. It is in this year that the month of February has 29 days instead of 28 only. An addition of one day every four years makes up for the excess ¼ day not accounted for in regular calendar year.
IV`          - How long does it take the earth to move around the sun?
-Why do we have a leap year every four years?
V             -Study about the movements of the moon.
